Hi Friends,
It's a new year and I have been enjoying walking around my city. The winter time in Riverside is lush with our green hills and mountains.
The sky is such a beautiful blue in the winter time.
The cross is quite large, if you look close you will see a man at the base to give you some perspective. This is an historical landmark at the top of Mount Rubidoux. Is has been on the hill since 1907.
Here are my sweet girls at the top of the hill.
Last weekend we headed to UCLA to watch my son play Rugby. What a treat to walk around the campus.
This architechture is amazing on the campus.
My Rugby teen waiting to play his second game. No broken bones so I am happy!
Another look around the campus...
My husband had his GPS with him so he could do some Geocaching. Of course he found one!
Anyone out there in blogland know about geocaching? You enter coordinates into your GPS and then head out to locate a hidden treasure.
Now don't get too excited, no large cash winnings. Really the thrill is in finding the cache.
Here is the website if you want to check it out! www.geocaching.com
You sign a log with your name and date when you find the cache and then hide it again in the same spot for the next seeker.
Also that day we noticed a film crew on the UCLA campus setting up for the shooting of a foreign film near the library. We stayed out of the way but enjoyed talking to some of the behind the seen crew and security. A full day in LA.
Back home I have been walking in my neighborhood park. The sunsets have been just beautiful!
Enjoy the rest of your week see you on Saturday!
