Hello blogging friends,
Pastor Ralph Arthur our good friend and one of the pastors from our church Harvest Christian Fellowship passed away suddenly on February 21. Not feeling well Saturday morning he laid down for a morning nap and woke up a while later for his first day in heaven.
This man loved to serve people, he was drawn to take on all of the "tough" pastoral jobs (cancer, bereavement, convalescent, hospital visitation ministries and performed many memorial services). He touched so many lives in our church family and in the Riverside Community.
He was an amazingly giving man. A Pastor, Father, Husband, Brother, Worship Leader and now a citizen of Heaven.
Please join me in praying for his Family. He is survived by his wife Cheri, and children Tommy, Joshua, David, Caleb and Andrea.
Ralph's favorite Bible verse was Psalms 116:1-2
He will truly be missed, his warm smile, encouraging words and his servant heart will not be forgotten soon. Ralph has left an dynamic legacy for his family and our church.
He blessed our family and we feel privileged to have known him.
2 Corinthians 5:7-8
For we walk by faith, not by sight. We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.
