I am back from the Les Sirenes Artistic Affaire! What an amazing event Kim Caldwell orchestrated. Every detail and creative touch was heart felt and noticed by all that attended.
From our adorable burlap goodie bags~~~
to each mermaid embellished center piece. Aaahhh it was so pretty.
Even our beautiful hotel rooms looked like a mermaid should rest her fins there!
Thank you Holly for taking this photo of myself and sweet Maija!!Both ladies are very talented. Click Here and stop by Maija's blog and click here to say hi to Holly too!
On our first day of the event. We were asked to join in a fun blue jeans altering contest.
Southern sweetie Sherry Williams hosted this event.
I had so much fun using my parents sealah no-sew adhesive tape to tackle the challenge. Fish netting, vintage earrings, ribbons, and seashells were added to my jeans. I did use a needle and thread a couple of times but I think I poked myself on every stitch! My Mom is the amazing seamstress in my family not me. So I am thankful she created her no sew tape for fellow creative types like myself that do not sew.
My back pockets were alot of fun to design and embellish too!
The weather was perfect in Manhattan Beach. Beautiful sunny skys with an ocean breeze.
I have so much more to share but my internet connection has been terrible that past few days...
I will wrap this entry up by focusing on announcing the winner from my last post!!
I had a fellow mermaid swim on over and pick the winning number~~~
Cafe Chat Elaine has won the prize!!
Email me your address so I can send out your magazine, birds nest and a seashell treasure from my trip :)
Until next time,
