Do you love to shop? I sure do!
Last weekend I had a fun filled day of shopping with all the lovely ladies that attended the "Les Sirenes Event". We began our day at the Long Beach Flea Market. I paired up with Jamie and off we went to find treasures!
You can never have too many watering cans right? I think all my gardening friends would agree.
As a designer~~~ I am always looking for great upholstery to buy.
I wanted to purchase one of these leather bond newspaper books...but someone came along and bought every single one!! My thought is a buyer from Anthropolgie or a set designer needing props snatched them all up! They were priced 20.00 each. I am still bummed they didn't have one left for me :(
They must have had a thousand books. Oh well~~~maybe next time. That's how it rolls at a flea market.
Jamie and my fav booth at the flea market was this one~~everything was imported from France...
I did find some great buys on fabric, trims and lace. One of the vendors I bought from knew my Mom and her Sealah No Sew Tape products...they see each other every year at a quilt and sewing show in Arizona. It is a small world:)
After we finshed filling our bags at the flea market we ventured off to the city of Orange for more creative shopping.
By the time we arrived at Orange Cirlce I was a little worn out.... until I eyed a Starbucks!
Actually I saw two Starbucks in walking distance.
Here we are... Jamie, Holly and I taking a break in front of a darling shop called Heavenly Hostess.
This is the owner of Heavenly Hostess who spoiled us all with goodie bags and sweet Karla who won the raffle!! Look at her pretty apron she won! So chic Karla!!
A little more shopping...Oh, I love this bed!
This bottle came home with me :)
A little lighting inspiration...
Before we ended our shopping extravaganza we headed over to a cupcakery called The Perfect Circle.
Thank you Valerie and Cynthia for hosting such a fun cupcake party!!
Thank you Jenn for taking the photos at the bakery~~
A wonderful way to end our special day.
Sweet Sherry is ready for a nap!!
Bye Bye,
