Halloween has arrived!

My family will be starting out our day at church and ending the day with hot cider and pumpkin pie, oh and handing out alot of candy:)

A true Fall feeling flower.

I decided to go digging in my craft closet and find a few Fall items.
No shopping, I just used what was in the closet.
Love to create something different each holiday season to hang on my front door.
Clustered some silk sunflowers and faux fruit on a worn burlap bag...tied raffia and a few vintage ribbons to finish the look.
My family will be thrilled when they come home today ~~~ In past years I have hung heavy items like a shovel or rack on the door! This is alot lighter weight and will not be a problem to open and close the front door:)

Hello or should I say Boo! lol
Sharing a few ideas for a Halloween table. I am not really into the fightful and scary decor, but I do enjoy "spooky cute" decorations.
I found this fabric at IKEA last week. I purchased less then 2 yards and made a tablecloth. I thought it was great look and it inspired me to get busy and decorate.
Of course a no sew tablecloth:) With my Mom's Sealah no sew tape...or maybe it's MAGIC TAPE today!

Do you all love bargains?
This one was perfect for me. I found this cute lace jacket at Marshalls...
Loved the price!
I was really looking for something a little bit longer with more lace... Hmmmmmm
Where's my sealah tape?
I selected one lace runner from my china buffet and cut it in half and decided to include two old doilies that belonged to my Grandma Ruth.
No sewing friends...I used my Mom's product sealah no sew tape!

This project was so much fun to make. I used the 1/2 inch width to adhere the lace and doillies....but I would suggest you may want to buy a 5 yard variety pack that gives you 30 yards total in five different widths.
Hand washed my jacket last week and it still looks amazing!!
I have to admit it took me about an hour to decide what lace I wanted to use? lol
...only 15 minutes to tape everything down.

A day filled with sunshine and creative friends.
We started our day out meeting at Sandra's home. She spoiled us all with sparkling grape juice & homemade scones when we arrived.
Thank you Sandra!
Her garden is filled with chippy treasures...
and a great potting shed!
I could have stayed alot longer walking around the garden or chatting away in this comfy french chair in the play house.
You call me Sandra if you ever decide to sell that great chair, I will take it!!
Trying to stay on schedule off we went to visit The Attic on Coronado Island!

Such sweet ladies to spend time with and what a fun shop to start out our day.
My friend Rita makes such beautiful things, one of her many talents is to make signage...see the Lake House sign?! Very pretty in this setting!
