November has arrived~~~ I thought some of you may be having guests stay in your home for the holidays. Here are a few ideas to spruce up a bedroom. Painting is still the most affordable way to change the atmosphere and look of a room. Fabric can add a new ambiance and feel to the space. Even if you have a limited budget, I would suggest that you go shopping for an assortment of new accents pillows. If you sew, you can find a few yards of remnants for a reasonable price at fabric stores or flee markets.
Mix it up with textures and colors. Have fun with it! If you want a new look on an existing shutter ... add a valance with creative detail.
This bedroom has been painted, the bedding chosen, and the windows are dressed. I can move on to the last step of hanging art and choose a few accessories to finish the look.
Another idea, when you have a large window on a focal wall, soften the shutter with a roman shade. Define the area with a striking or whimsy headboard.
The tie bands turned out so cute with the oversized buttons, they enhance the valance and handmade quilt on the bed. My client mentioned the room looks bigger now! I love hearing that:) Well, I am off to work... I hope I have inspired you to Dress up a space with a few new ideas. Joining sweet Sue with REDnesday HERE See you soon,
