In honor of Pink Saturday, I thought I would share some pink inspired ideas for the holidays!
This is a tree I donated for The Festival of Trees...It's a beanie baby tree! The title of this tree was: Little Lamb So Meek and Mild. It was my pleasure to do it and each tree is auctioned off...the money goes to help the infant and newborn baby unit at our local county hospital.
Try a new themed tree in your home this year. This 4 foot tree included lambs, raffia, netting, silk flowers, cream balls, ladybugs, burlap weaved in and out of the tree. The base of the tree was burlap and fake lamb skin fabric I found at Joannes. Lots of twinkle lights...800 to be exact!
Here's a fun Sealah Tape project and gift idea for you to do. Aprons are a big fashion trend this year.
This a plain cream canvas apron I bought and embellished it with fabric, ribbons, vintage buttons and lace.
After you finish taping everything on the apron...wait 24 hour's it is washable!
My daughter is modeling in this picture for me...I added lace and made them into pockets. I think it's a great Christmas gift idea!
Everything is taped..but you will need to sew the buttons on. I used the( 5 yard sealah tape variety pack) my mom sells.
Jodees inc website is very simple...just go to her order page and you will see this product listed... if you are interested in buying some tape.
I have enough tape in the variety pack to make 5 aprons like this!

My garden is blooming with these lovely pink camellia flowers.

Pink Inspired Pillow!

This is another gift idea for the holidays. My mom is an amazing seamstress. She makes these gift pillows that are scented. I embellish them for her. The trim is put on with sealah tape. I even sealah taped the silk flowers down...didn't use my glue-gun one time.

I made a crown for the top of the pillow out of the looped trim. I used Sealah Shaper to make this. It is a double sided bendable wire product listed on Jodees Inc Website. It is available in a 7 yard rolls.
Drapery workroom use this product to shape valances and to make things stay in place. I personally love it for crafts!
A sweet pink-scented pillow don't you think? I could even add vintage jewelry to it too!

Southern California is bursting with dark pink bougainvillea blooms!
I show this adorable shoe idea when I travel around the United States with Jodees Inc. I bought these shoes at Kmart and sealah taped the lace and vintage buttons on. Pink polka dots just make me smile!

This is a cute pink inspired shoe idea any one can do! You don't have to be crafty to do this. Nordstrom's is selling embellished shoes for kids this year and they are very pricey ...you can save a lot of money and make your own custom designed pair.
Hope I have inspired you to get crafty this week:) Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
Next week is Thanksgiving!

Blessing to everyone!
Thank you Stampington & Company for publishing my Apron shown above~~~
I embellished it using sealah no sew tape! My parent's company will be so tickled!
