Pink Celebration!!!

Hi Blogging friends!!

It is time to celebrate Pink Saturday!!! I pulled out some vintage bling to add sparkle to my blog entry! This is a very special day.

 

One year ago Beverly began her journey inviting friends to blog with her and celebrate PINK in style every Saturday!

I bought some yummy raspberries to inspire the celebration.

Let's have a party in the garden...

 Enjoy the blooms while I set the table.

I love to use Grandma Ruth's silverware for special occasions like today!!!

A mound of pink frosting with strawberry flavored shavings. I wrapped this cupcake in a sheer pink ribbon and tied a bow with white geraniums...and topped it off with a pretty rose from the garden.

I think I am going to relax, sit by the fountain, and cut my cupcake to share with the family. Stay as long as you like:)

Each Pink Saturday has been a labor of love from Beverly. Can you imagine the countless hours just to put our names on her blog? and each week send out email reminders? Amazing!!!

Finishing Touches

Hi Everyone!

Do you remember these first three pics I showed you awhile back?

I thought you would enjoy seeing the progress and some of the finishing touches.

Here it is...

Really a wonderful transformation!!!

So glad my client is cooking and entertaining in her gorgeous new kitchen now! It took some time but what a beautiful result.
The dark rich floor makes a wonderful contrast with the light cabinetry.

Two new solar tube skylights help to bring natural light into the room during the day.

Charming and comfortable bar stools at the end of the island.

Subway tile look with a twist in natural stone. I love all the colors. It has the look of a garden wall with character.
When I set this platter up against the back splash, the gold tones popped!

A prep sink for fruits and veggies.

The three drawers under the cook top hold cooking utensils,pots and pans. The long slender doors on each side of the drawers holds cooking oils and spices. A great cooking station.

It was fun placing finishing touches in this kitchen.
