We've been having a few cool and cloudy days here in Southern California ... not to mention a little shaking going on with some earthquakes ... that will help keep your attention no matter what the weather!
It was nice to see the Summer Sun finally peeking out today.
As you may imagine, I am always on the look out for creative accessories to add to my client's homes. But this week I was fortunate to find a treasure that had my name on it ... it's staying here!
An iron birdcage that is a unique and eye-catching addition to my garden.
On my way to place it in just the right spot, I added a "nest with a robin's egg" and a brightly colored Italian teacup and saucer.
This addition fits right in with my other "nesting" arrangements. Yes, there will be a some nesting and gardening happening at our home this weekend.

The NEW Summer Issue of Somerset Life has arrived! (I can't wait to read it from cover to cover).
It is filled with beautiful articles and artists! I was delighted when they requested that I share my "nesting table setting". It is featured in this new issue on page 128! They also published a thank you note that I wrote (page 4).

THIS JUST IN ...
We have a REAL bird's nest hidden in this grapevine above the garage.
The Mama bird keeps diving at me, so I am sorry no close up photos of the baby chicks, maybe later when they are a bit bigger. :-)
