My creative juices are flowing with more {Thanksgiving Day} tablescape ideas...
I was grocery shopping over the weekend and saw a huge bin of nuts. I grabbed the scoop and brought home a bag. What a simple and nutty idea, adding an assortment of nuts to your thanksgiving day table!
Table-scape Suggestions:
White lace or linen tablecloth
Simple napkins folded lengthwise under each plate
Place-mat with a wood look or buy fencing boards and cut them to place-mat width (aprox. size 14"-16"inches)
Cream or white colored dishes
Stainless silverware
Glassware white, cream or clear glass
Assorted nuts displayed on plates and centerpiece... the walnuts work great as name cards.. use a black marker to write each guests name
If you don't have mini nests, maple leaves placed in the center of each plate would look nice.
Mini apple cider bottles tied with ribbon
Dutch Shoes represent family history... We like to share past memories of Thanksgivings around the table.
Centerpiece assorted nuts on a cake pedestal, pumpkins and I added the owl for fun but you could use a silver pitcher or vase with fresh cut flowers
Place grapevine twigs weaved around the centerpiece and tablesettings
