One of my sweet clients called me on the spur of the moment last week and said
"Company is Coming" Help!
She wanted fall touches added to the front of her property.
I took a few quick instagram photos with my iphone to share...
My first stop was Micheals craft store to purchase a few supplies I needed.
I bought straw wreaths and wrapped them with fresh birch twigs from my garden... added dried curly willow and silk sunflowers...grabbed a few dried pods, fall leaves and wired all the elements to the straw wreaths.
I used the back of my husbands truck to make the wreaths~~~a great spur of the moment work station! Perfect place to arrange flowers and keep the mess outside.
Here is one the wreaths completed. I love mixing elements... fresh, dried and silks together.
The wreaths really popped installed on the front rock pillars.
I also went to Trader Joes and bought an assortments of pumpkins...placed them in a rustic bird bath above
and a vintage welcome wheel barrow I brought over for a prop.
I placed a yard of burlap fabric in wheel barrow and added fresh cut birch twig branches and filled the inside with colorful pumpkins.
A creative afternoon project completed and just in time for company to arrive!
