I find rest in the garden. Simple pleasures of potting a plant, digging in the soil and and seeing the fruits of my labor as time goes by... I shared with a design client recently I spend so much time in homes helping clients with the interiors that I can't wait to get outside, stress free of deadlines and create.
My potting bench was made by my Grandpa Dean over 50 years ago. The vintage ice chest holds my soil and a few bulbs ready for planting. The metal stool I bought for a few dollars at a flea market. I hung my galvanized tubs on the fence and they come in handy for big planting projects or filling them up with ice and drinks for a garden party. My bright yellow watering can is about 20 years old I bought second hand from a flea market friend, Heidi.
Before February disappears I wanted to offer a chance to WIN the current issue of COTTAGES AND BUNGALOWS Magazine chalked full of great interior ideas and six pages of my my garden featured!
Just leave a comment on this blog post to be included in the drawing!
Happy Pink Saturday to my blogging friends over at Beverly's!
Weekend Blessings,
